Our most popular and loved cake! Moist, spiced cake studded with walnuts and pineapple.  iced with cream cheese icing.

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE
Rich, dense chocolate cake. filled and iced with ganache.

RASPBERRY CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE
Same as above, with the addition of raspberry preserves.

GERMAN CHOCOLATE
Light chocolate cake, filled and topped with coconut, pecan filling, and iced with ganache on the sides.

ITALIAN CREAM
White cake made with coconut and pecans. iced with cream cheese icing and toasted coconut.

CHOCOLATE ITALIAN CREAM
Same as above, made with cocoa powder and iced with chocolate cream cheese icing.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER
Chocolate cake filled with a creamy peanut butter filling and iced with ganache.

VANILLA CAKE
Moist white cake with your choice of strawberry, raspberry or pineapple preserves. Iced with American buttercream.

HUMMINGBIRD
Banana, pineapple cake iced and filled with a pecan cream cheese icing.

TRES LECHES
$40.00 sold in one size only (serves 20). Sponge cake soaked with three creams and topped with fresh whipped cream.

RASPBERRY ANGEL
Angel food cake filled with raspberry preserves, pastry cream and shipped cream.  Iced with whipped cream and a swirled layer of raspberry preserves.

COCONUT CREAM CAKE
White cake brushed with Coco Lopez, filled with house-made pastry cream, iced with fresh whipped cream, and coated with shredded coconut.

COFFEE TOFFEE CHOCOLATE
Our chocolate cake filled with ganache and toffee pieces and iced with a coffee whipped cream.

WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY CAKE
White cake filled with white chocolate mosse and raspberries, iced with fresh whipped cream.

BLACK FOREST
Chocolate cake with cherry filling. Iced with whipped cream and garnished with chocolate shavings.

LEMON CREAM
White cake filled with lemon curd and iced with a rich lemon icing.

CHOCOLATE BLACKOUT
Moist chocolate cake mixed with miniature chocolate chips and iced with a fudge icing.

All artwork is hand drawn and colors are hand mixed to match individual orders.  Artwork is an additional $10.00 - $30.00 more per cake depending on size of cake and detail.

NEW YORK STYLE
Traditional cheesecake made with a graham cracker crust. Simply delicious.

CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT
New York Style cheesecake with walnuts and chocolate chips folded into the batter.  Chocolate ganache topping.

LEMON
Fresh lemon juice and zest, lemon curd topping, and whipped cream garnish.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE
White and dark chocolate layers, topped with ganache and white chocolate shavings.

BUTTERFINGER
Crushed candy folded into batter. Garnished with shipped cream and chocolate drizzle.

PEANUT BUTTER
Crunchy peanut butter added to batter. Topped with ganache.

COOKIES AND CREAM
Oreo cookies in a New York style base. Garnished with Oreos.

HAWAIIAN
Pineapple and toasted coconut.

PRALINE
Brown sugar, vanilla, and pecan cheesecake.

COCONUT
One whole can of Coco Lopez goes into each cheesecake along with one cup of toasted coconut.

TURTLE
Made with pecans, chocolate chips, and house-made caramel sauce.

Custom cakes should be ordered at least 72 hours in advance. Orders should be placed early to assure availability.

ABOUT TAKE THE CAKE
At Take the Cake we bake from scratch daily using only the finest ingredients including fresh cream and pure butter. We believe that all our desserts should look good and taste even better. Owner, Anabel Trudeau is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and has trained in Europe.
